The Orange County Department of Education has partnered with Parchment as a transcript service.\u00a0 It is a safe, easy, and paperless way to send transcripts directly to the colleges you choose or to\u00a0obtain a personal transcript\u00a0copy for yourself.\u00a0 Transcripts sent through Parchment are considered Official Transcripts.\u00a0\u00a0Students and Alumni will receive transcripts at no charge.\u00a0 Transcripts can be sent electronically, through the U.S. mail or picked up at our\u00a0Attendance and Records location\u200b<\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0 (Please note, there will be a charge for transcripts sent by Fed Ex or mailed outside of the United States.\u00a0 Fees will vary depending on the location.\u00a0 Payments will be made through Parchment.<\/em>)<\/p>\n

Individuals age 18 or older:<\/strong>\u00a0 Must submit their own request \u2013 Records cannot be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible party without the individual\u2019s written consent.<\/p>\n

Minors (17 and under):\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Parents or guardians must submit the request – Records are only released with their authorization.<\/p>\n

In most cases, transcripts will be processed in 5-7 business days.<\/strong>\u00a0 Students who attended\/graduated prior to 2005-2006 may take 7-10 business days.<\/p>\n

In order to process requests from 3rd party companies, a release form with a \u201cwet or electronic signature\u201d must be uploaded (student signature if 18 or over, or parent\/guardian signature if 17 and under).\u00a0 There will be a\u00a0charge for 3rd party requests.\u00a0 Payments will be made through Parchment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

REPORT CARDS, GRADES
\nAND GRADING PERIODS<\/strong>
\nReport cards are issued each December and June. Course completion credit is given in five credit blocks. If a student leaves the class or fails to complete all five credits, partial credits may be issued.<\/p>\n

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES <\/strong><\/span>

\nCCPA strives to provide a full range of support services to our students and their families.<\/p>\n

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS <\/strong><\/span>
\nAll CCPA teachers are credentialed to provide specialized instruction to English Language Learners (ELL). ELL students participate in mainstream core curriculum classes with modified instruction based on their English language ability. ELL students may also be placed in research-based intervention classes designed to accelerate English language skills. The student\u2019s English development is assessed yearly with the ELPAC test. Support services for ELL students may include but are not limited to modified lessons and testing, individualized instruction or additional academic support in their primary language.<\/p>\n

TESTING<\/strong><\/span>
\nStudents are required to complete state mandated testing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
